All guides are blind or partially sighted people, employed by Dialogue in the Dark, who lead visitors through the exhibition and provide insight into their everyday lives. They are at ease in the dark and can handle everyone’s needs during the tour, assuring that visitors are comfortable and safe. Guides provide an imaginative, educational and entertaining experience: progressing from anxiety and disorientation to the joy of perceiving the world through the other senses.

The book “I am Here” documents the impact of Dialogue in the Dark on the visually impaired staff all over the world. To order the book please contact us.
